An elderly woman has sadly died after a collision in Harborne this afternoon (Thursday 22nd July).
The collision – believed to involve two cars – happened in Northfield Road at just after 4pm.
All emergency services – including an air ambulance – attended the scene. Northfield Road / California Way remains closed between Osmaston Road and Stonehouse Lane.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We’re dealing with a serious collision on Northfield Road, Harborne.
“An elderly woman has sadly died and we’re working hard to find out exactly what happened.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.”
