Two childhood friends from Longbridge have have taken steps into the gaming industry after losing their jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Best friends Jamie White and Ash Jones, both 31, had been casually dabbling in game development from the age of 14 making “predictably boyish games”!
Both were let go from their jobs when COVID-19 restrictions affected their workplaces – in manufacturing and personal fitness training. With time on their hands, they decided to take the next step in gaming and set up their own small development business to hone their skills – Ash programming and 3d modelling and Jamie art modelling and other ‘creative stuff’.
So Denseturd was born and, in December, the team launched Eateor — a casual game with quirky characters, funky electro-jazz tunes and killer puns where the player controls an expanding meteor character zooming around in space, munching anything in it’s path!
