[COVID-19] Public meetings to be held online re South African Variant testing in south west Birmingham

Two public meetings will be held online on Friday 5th February, giving local residents the chance to learn more about plans after cases of a variant of COVID-19 first found in South Africa were identified in the area.

As extra testing began this week to monitor incidence of the variant of the virus in the Frankley Great Park ward and small parts of Northfield and Rubery Rednal wards, local politicians and have arranged for residents to hear from Birmingham’s Director of Public Health Dr Justin Varney.

Both meetings take place on the evening of Friday 5th February on Microsoft Teams. (Download Microsoft Teams). Residents can attend either meeting.
