West Ambulance Service were called to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian on Bristol Road South at 2.41pm (3rd December).
The incident, by Colmers School, was attended by one ambulance and a paramedic officer.
On arrival they discovered one patient, a boy, who was the pedestrian.
He was treated for injuries not believed to be serious at the scene before being transported to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further assessment.
