The death of a man in Bartley Green, Birmingham, on Saturday (16 Oct) is now not being treated as suspicious.
A post mortem examination on the 36-year-old’s body proved inconclusive but did not reveal any evidence of injuries consistent with an assault or trauma.
West Midlands Police are awaiting results of toxicology tests to determine the precise cause of death. A 48-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released without charge.

A woman has been arrested and a murder investigation launched after a 36 year old man was found dead at a house in Bartley Green last night (Friday 16th October).
West Midlands Police attended the address in Dover Close at around 6.20pm after being called by ambulance colleagues attending a man found to be in cardiac arrest.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene and a forensic post-mortem is due to take place to determine exactly how he died.
A 48-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody today.
Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley from the force homicide team said: “Our investigation continues to establish the circumstances surrounding this man’s death.
“Every bit of information is vital to our investigation and I would urge anyone who can help to get in touch.”
