A local family have had their much needed ‘freedom’ snatched by thieves who stole their motorhome from outside their home in Hollywood in Worcestershire on Monday (13th July).
The family’s 13 year old son has Down’s Syndrome and won’t get on a plane, so the motorhome is very much relied upon for breaks for the family of five.
Mum Lyndsey said: “He cannot understand now where the motorhome is and he feels very sad, because I am so upset.”
The family travelled to Bidford in the motorhome on Sunday for a much needed meet up with Lyndsey’s dad, who they hadn’t seen since the COVID-19 outbreak began.
As lockdown eases, the family were looking forward to getting out of the house with a week’s holiday booked from next Wednesday and some long weekends in August.
Lyndsey said: “We had planned these as none of my children have been back to school yet, so it’s been tough in the house for all 5 of us.”
The motorhome is a silver, white and blue Peugeot Boxer with registration FN62 BFJ and was stolen from outside the family’s Alcester Road home.
