West Midlands Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured when the car he was passenger in overturned in a crash in Northfield yesterday evening (Thursday 9th July). The other occupants of the car ran from the scene.
The collision happened at around 7pm in Merritts Brook Lane. The passenger – a man in his 20s – suffered ‘serious injuries’ and remains in hospital.
Police are still seeking a number of people who fled from the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they had sent an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene, along with a Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
