A boy and a woman were arrested after West Midlands Police response officers were threatened with a knife while attending a disorder in Rednal yesterday (Wednesday 3rd June).
Officers were called to reports of a disorder in Kendal Rise Road at around 3.50pm.
After being threatened with a large bayonet style knife, officers deployed a Taser.
A 16 year old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed weapon and witness intimidation.
A 30 year old woman was also arrested on suspicion of witness intimidation.
Both remain in police custody for questioning this morning as investigations continue.
