A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed the raid and said: “The plants are being removed and destroyed and the property has been made safe.”

Three men in their mid-20s were arrested in a nearby garden on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. However, they were later released with no further action.

Since Saturday, Western Power Distribution have been working on the electricity supply outside the property.
