A 31 year old man from Frankley man has been charged with the death of a Northfield toddler in November 2017.
On 19th November 2017, a 21-month-old girl was found with a head injury at an address in The Green (off Lower Beeches Road). Sadly the toddler died in hospital two days later.
West Midlands Police say that Sean Sadler was originally arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing serious injury to a child in 2017. Later, he was arrested on suspicion of murder in 2019.
Today (Thursday 28th May, 2020), Sadler has been charged with murder and wounding and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court this afternoon.
A woman – then 30 – who was also arrested at the time was released without charge.
