Prime Minister Boris Johnson has thanked NHS staff for saving his life in a video message today (12th April), six days after being admitted into intensive care.
“It is hard to find the words to express my debt to the NHS for saving my life” said the PM on Twitter.Mr Johnson was admitted to the St Thomas’ hospital in London on the 5th of April. The following evening he was moved into intensive – 11 days after testing positive for coronavirus.
The PM also said: “The efforts of millions of people across this country to stay home are worth it. Together we will overcome this challenge, as we have overcome so many challenges in the past. #StayHomeSaveLives”
