Unfortunately, due to the current situation regarding Covid19 (Coronavirus), this event has been cancelled.

A group of six students from Birmingham City University (BCU) are hosting a night of laughter and entertainment in aid of St Basils.

The ‘Stand Up For The Homeless Comedy Night’ takes place at Nortons in Digbeth on the 27th March. cancelled

It’s been organised by students Hannah, Lyra, Lucy, Abbie, Evie and Lauren (Lunar Lux), as part of their events management course at BCU – with no start up funds and having to fundraise all the money to host the event.

All the proceeds will go to St Basils charity.

Student, Hannah said: “St Basils is very close to our hearts, so it’s very gratifying”

Barrie Hodge, head of fundraising and communications at St Basils, said, “we are so grateful to the wonderful Lunar Lux Events Team for putting on this fabulous event to raise money for our cause. The money will have such an impact on the lives of young people in the West Midlands. On behalf of everyone we support, thank you.”

With hilarious Birmingham comedians, a raffle, music, food and fizz, followed by a DJ set, it promises to be a great night.
