Woman threatens another with needle in attempted robbery at Longbridge station

British Transport Police have released CCTV images after a woman was threatened with a needle by another woman during an attempted robbery at Longbridge station last month.

The incident happened between 11pm and 11.15pm on the evening of Thursday 9 January.

After approaching her victim, the woman threatened her with a needle, demanding she hand over her purse and mobile phone.

The would-be thief left the scene empty handed – dropping the needle as she went – after being disturbed when another member of the public arrived.
