Police investigate reports of shots fired in Northfield street

West Midlands Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired at a car in a Northfield street this evening (Thursday 12th September).

A spokeswoman confirmed that police received reports of shots being fired at a car on Colworth Road, off Elmdale Crescent, at around 5.20pm.

A window of a car was found to have been damaged but thankfully no injuries were reported.

Officers have closed off a part of the road while the scene is examined.
