Armed police respond to report of woman with sword in Kings Norton street

Armed officers from West Midlands Police descended on a Kings Norton address this morning (Thursday 29th August) after receiving reports of a woman brandishing a sword in the street.

Officers attended Westcroft Grove, off Popes Lane, just before 10am.

A spokesperson said that – although no arrests have been made – investigations are ongoing.
