Police were called to Holloway in Northfield at 10.30pm last night (Monday 5th February) to a report of a man acting suspiciously and brandishing a knife.
A Taser was deployed after the man failed to comply to the officer’s instructions, he was taken to hospital to be checked before being arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place.
The 41-year-old remains in police custody this morning (Tuesday 5 February).
