A 10 year old boy has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car Kings Norton this afternoon (Monday 3rd December).
The accident happened just after 4pm close to a pedestrian crossing in Foyle Road.

West Midlands Police confirmed that the boy suffered head, leg and ankle injuries. At this stage, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, however a large police cordon remained around the scene for around 3 hours following the accident.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping police as enquiries continue.
