Man arrested after being seen with suspected handgun on Rednal street

A man was arrested yesterday after being spotted in a Rednal street with what appeared to be a gun (Wednesday 7th November). 

West Midlands Police officers, including firearms, responded at around 3.15pm, after man was seen to threaten another with what was suspected to be a handgun.

Shortly afterwards, a 20 year old man was arrested from a nearby address where officers recovered an imitation gun.

The man remains in police custody today.
