We Just Read…. Mexican rival’s disqualification hands Rednal triathlete world championship crown:
“A REDNAL woman has been crowned champion of her age group at the World Championships in Holland after her Mexican rival was disqualified. Anne Hughes competed in the 60-64yrs category at the championship in Rotterdam where she finished second.
Success for Anne, a retired teacher who spent 35 years at Bournville Secondary School, came after she won the European Championships in Dusseldorf, Germany.”
