Workmen crossed the line when a trucker parked on a Birmingham road – by painting double yellows AROUND his vehicle.
Alan Miles, 35, had left the pick-up lorry near an unlined entrance of Mavis Road in Longbridge Monday morning.
The mechanic later received a call from the road workers asking him to move the car transporter.
But by the time he returned to the scene, the yellow lines had been painted around the lorry.
The workers completed the lines the following morning and Alan has not been hit by any parking ticket.
