Six year old Gracie from Northfield is cutting off her beautiful, long “Rapunzel” locks for charity, in memory of her late grandad. Gracie’s generosity has prompted a message of support from Cbeebies favourite Justin “Mr Tumble” Fletcher.
Gracie’s Big Cut
Gracie Mai decided to sacrifice her hair – which is almost as long as she is tall – to raise funds in memory of her grandad Fred Oakes from Rubery, who recently passed away from cancer.
Monies raised will be split between Macmillan Cancer Support and the RNLI, and Gracie’s silky tresses will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, to be used to make real hair wigs for children undergoing cancer therapies.

To raise as much as possible, Gracie is also hosting a fantastic charity Fun Day in Longbridge on Easter Monday.
