Firefighters from Kings Norton are asking local people to help them contribute towards a brighter Christmas for children at Acorns Children's Hospice.
The Selly Oak hospice provides care and support to children with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses, as well as their families.
How can you help?
Donations of the following are welcomed:
- 1. New toys: brand new toys, still in the packaging, that can be given to the children under the care of Acorns
- 2. Used toys: in good, clean condition to be sold in Acorns' charity shops
- 3. Cash donations
Donations can be taken to Kings Norton fire station, or dropped in to your local station for collection over the next 3 weeks.
A spokesperson from Kings Norton Fire Station tweeted: “Every little bit helps no matter how small, lets put some joy out there this Christmas and put some smiles back on kids faces…”
