Refuse collections:
Weds 25th & Thurs 26th Dec: NO collections
Weds 1st Jan: Normal scheduled collections
If you normally receive your collections on a Wednesday or Thursday you will have black bags collected the following week (Jan 1st / 2nd). Your next recycling collection will be on the next scheduled date (8th / 9th Jan)

Lifford Lane recycling centre will be open as normal except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day when the depot will be closed:
Mon to Fri: 8am to 6pm,
Saturday: 8am to 4.30pm,
Sunday: 8am to 4.30pm

Buses: Extra early morning buses will run on some routes – 11A, 11C, 16, 16A, 24, 27, 71, 120,126, 127, 128, 129, 140, 205, X51 and X56.
Trains: Normal service
Christmas Eve
Buses: Extra early morning buses will run on some routes – 11A, 11C, 16, 16A, 24, 27, 71, 120, 126, 127, 128, 129, 140, 205, X51 and X56.
Trains: London Midland Trains will reduce to a half hourly service at 13:50 hrs and services will finish earlier.
Christmas Day
NO bus or rail service
Boxing Day
Buses: Sunday service
Rail: NO service
Friday 27th
Buses: Extra early morning buses will run on some routes – 11A, 11C, 16, 16A, 24, 27, 71, 120, 126, 127, 128, 129, 140, 205, X51 and X56.
Rail: Due to essential works and platform closures at New Street, services will be reduced. London Midland will be providing a half hourly service on the Redditch – Lichfield Cross City Line
Saturday 28th Dec
Buses: Normal service

Monday 30th

Rail: London Midland Cross city Lichfield – Redditch (via Birmingham New Street) – 4 trains an hour between Four Oaks and Longbridge, 2 trains per hour to Lichfield and Redditch.
New Year’s Eve
Buses: Saturday service. Extra early morning buses will run on some routes – 11A, 11C, 16, 16A, 24, 27, 71, 120, 126, 127, 128, 129, 140, 205, X51 and X56.
