West Midlands Ambulance Service rescued a woman after she fell in woodland near Monument Lane at Lickey Hills Country Park this afternoon.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews were called to reports of a woman who had fallen in a steep heavily wooded area. Crews arrived at the scene to find a woman, believed to be her 50’s, who had sustained an ankle injury.
“Due to the location of the incident, the Hazardous Area Response Team deployed their specialist six-wheeled all-terrain vehicle to help assist in transporting the woman to an awaiting ambulance. On reaching the ambulance, the woman was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
