A 19 year old man from Northfield was jailed for 6 months at Birmingham Crown Court for shining a green laser pen at the West Midlands Police helicopter.
The helicopter was sent to Hollymoor Way on 11th September 2011 after reports of a laser being shone at a commercial jet.
Wayne Junior French pleaded guilty to the charge after being caught by police on the ground.
