Longbridge Dining Club returns to the town centre this Saturday (13th July) with a special guest! Birmingham’s first Michelin Star chef and TV personality Glynn Purnell will be sharing one of his recipes in a live cooking demonstration at the event.
The “Yummy Brummie” is a regular guest on BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen and will be demonstrating how to whip up his monkfish masala in the high street at 12.30pm and again at 1.30pm.

There will also be a demo at 11.30am from Andy Stubbs from barbecue experts Low ’n’ Slow, who will cook up locally farmed steak.
This year Longbridge Dining Club – an event run by award-winning street food brand Digbeth Dining Club – has made its mouth-watering series of dining clubs bi-weekly – offering award-winning food, craft beers, drinks, entertainment alongside Digbeth Arts Market from 11am – 6pm.
Street food traders at the Saturday 13th July event:
Street Kitchen Bros – Greek-style family food including lamb kleftiko, chicken gyros and grilled halloumi
Leave it to Esmie – bringing sunshine to Longbridge by way of Caribbean flavours and dishes, including jerk chicken, mutton curry and soft-shell crab burgers
Chef Shack – uses fresh and seasonal local produce to make dishes including Spanish style nachos, Italian breaded chicken and BBQ Philly cheese steaks
Middle Feast – Middle eastern-inspired kebabs and mezze including Lebanese spiced pulled goat and honey-glazed lamb kofte
Street Chef – veggie street food experts serving delights like sweet potato chilli, red pepper nuggets served with vegan chorizo, coriander and halloumi fries
Urban Cheesecake – bringing new and exciting hand-crafted cheesecake flavours including profiterole, chocolate orange and Biscoff
Bournville Waffle Co – waffles baked fresh to order with toppings including banoffee, pecan and rocky road
Press de Cuba – iconic grilled sandwiches and sides using traditional Cuban bread including mojo marinated pork, honey roasted ham, Swiss cheese, American mustard and pickles
Low ‘N’ Slow – Texan Style slow cooked BBQ dishes including oak smoked short ribs, sausage and barbacoa
Patty Freaks – taking burgers to the next level with ingredients including beef, prawn crackers, chillies, hoisin sauce, cheese, ‘freaky’ mayo and seeded brioche buns
