Phoenix AcroDance Academy

Phoenix AcroDance Academy (PADA) was founded on 14 September 2018 and has grown from its beginnings in Harborne to its permanent home at Bellfield Junior School in Northfield, Birmingham. We deliver high‑quality acrobatics, dance, aerial, and performance training across five days each week, offering a supportive, family‑focused environment where every student is valued. PADA is proud to be a Finalist at The UK Small Business Awards 2026 in the Best Creative Arts Business category. Our students have performed at major UK venues including Birmingham Hippodrome, Indigo at The O2 London, MAC, Artrix, Alton Towers Scarefest, The Crescent, and Blackpool Winter Gardens. Although primarily non‑competitive, our dancers have achieved multiple gold, silver, and bronze awards, including top‑scoring acro group titles in 2021 and 2023, and a 98/100 1st Place duet in 2026. We offer OFQUAL‑accredited Acrobatic Arts examinations with a 100% pass rate, supporting students with UCAS‑recognised qualifications. Every two years, PADA produces a full-scale theatre showcase, giving dancers the chance to celebrate their progress and shine on stage. Our diverse, inclusive community welcomes students from many backgrounds, including those supported through the Ukrainian Sponsorship Scheme. In 2027, PADA will launch its first International Performing Team, representing the academy at That’s Showbiz International Dance Competition in Madrid, Spain.
