Birmingham South West and Selly Oak Job Centres along with Gary Sambrook MP for Birmingham Northfield are teaming up with South & City College Birmingham to support their local communities back into work.

The Jobs Fair will be on Saturday 13th November, 11am – 3pm, hosted at South and City College, Longbridge Campus 1 Longbridge Lane, Longbridge, Birmingham B31 2AJ (Sat Nav B31 2TW)

A wide range of employers will be attending with job opportunities to offer. There will also be people on hand to help with CVs and other practical advice for getting a job.

There will also be a Kickstart Scheme section for people that are aged 16-24 that are currently claiming Universal Credit and are at risk of long-term unemployment.

Local MP Gary Sambrook said “Birmingham Northfield has nearly 6,000 people unemployed, part of my job as the Member of Parliament is to help get these people into good quality work, that’s why I am teaming up with local partners to deliver this.

If you’re out of work or looking to change careers come along and see the opportunities that are available.”
