Details of Phase 2 on the controversial North Worcestershire Golf Course development.
Bloor Homes have released design details of Phase 2 of development which will contain around 350 new homes that will be served by the approved Tessall Lane access.
The proposals for Phase 2 of the development to Birmingham City Council for approval include:
- A mix of 1-bed, 2-bed, 3-bed and 4-bed open market and affordable homes (for shared ownership and rent). Approximately 65% of the Phase 2 homes will be for sale on the open market and 35% will be affordable tenures.
- Public open space layout for the central parkland; with its play areas, path network and attenuation ponds
- A corridor of public open space with new and retained tree planting is a feature of the Phase 2 development parcel which will contribute to the expansive green infrastructure of the site as a whole.
You will have the opportunity to submit any comments on the proposals directly to Birmingham City Council once the planning application has been submitted; anticipated in early November 2021.

I don’t suppose there will be any more “suspicious” arson incidents on the old golf course now that the developers have finally got what they wanted – Heaven for bid!
