A socially distanced celebration took place today (11 July) as the wonderful staff and residents celebrated the Longbridge retirement village’s (LRV) 3rd birthday.
The LRV is one of five Birmingham Village’s run by ExtraCare – a charitable trust dedicated to giving older people: “an independent, safe and secure future in a network of inspirational communities.”
Celebrating its third anniversary, the villagers enjoyed live entertainment, refreshments (including some moorish looking cupcakes) and beautiful weather.
A spokesperson for LRV said: “We hope residents had a lovely day celebrating whilst social distancing. We believe everyone had a lovley day and lucky the weather was on our side too.”
