Help our customers with their holiday money in one of our in-store Travel Money bureaus.
What does the job involve?
You’ll be offering a fantastic service in our in-store Travel Money bureau, handling currency and building up good relationships with our customers. Most of the time, you’ll be running the bureau on your own, so you need to be confident making decisions and giving great customer service without supervision. You’ll also be handling large amounts of detail, so you’ll need to make sure that you carefully follow all our policies and procedures.
What do I need?
You’ll be the face of Travel Money for Sainsbury’s Bank, and that means you’ll be the kind of person who loves chatting to people about their trips and holidays. With a friendly smile, you’ll put them at their ease and brighten up their day.
Ideally you’ll have a background in finance or cash handling. This isn’t essential, as we provide training – but bear in mind you’ll be managing large amounts of money, so you’ll need to be comfortable and confident working with figures.

As well as training for this role, we provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our shift patterns are between 9am & 8pm at peak holiday times. We prepare team schedules a month in advance, and whenever possible we consider requests for flexible working.
Due to the nature of this role any successful candidates will need to give permission for a DBS and credit check.
