The School requires an enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the Learning Support Team as soon as possible. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will support the teaching and learning of students with a wide range of special educational needs. This post is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional to contribute to the school’s continuing success. The candidate will also support within the Literacy Team supporting EAL students.

The Governors are looking for a suitably qualified person to take on the role of Learning Mentor. The successful candidate will work with individual or small groups of EAL/Literacy students to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning. It is essential that the person appointed understands the barriers to learning and is able to help students to overcome them. The successful candidate will liaise with a wide range of staff and will monitor students closely to ensure they make good progress.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to work in a curriculum area with a highly committed staff in a large and popular Catholic secondary school.
