    Sessional Youth Worker

    Up to 100 hours per annum (Approx 2.5 hrs per week)
    Salary: £8.57 per hour

    Shenley Youth & Community Trust (SYCT) wishes to recruit a sessional youth worker to be based at Shenley Court Hall (SCH), a local community centre providing facilities, services and activities for all ages.

    Job Purpose

    Main duties of the postholder are to interact with young people and facilitate their development from childhood and dependency to adulthood and autonomy. It is primarily aimed at supporting SYCT’s part-time youth worker in supporting the delivery of SCH based youth work with young people. Overall the work will be focused and targeted, educative and participative. It will address inequalities, encourage social responsibility and personal development. Valuing equality and diversity is key to the provision of the service.
