    We have been let down very last minute, looking for someone to start immediately, providing all their suitability checks are completed.

    Purpose of Post
    1 .To work under the direction of the manager & deputy  for them as and when required
    3. To ensure the smooth running of room & maintain parent partnership.
    2. To give support to all staff and to work as a team.
    3.To implement the daily routine in the room.

    Key Areas
    1.       To work and interact with the children to a high standard. Making sure that the child is in the centre of everything that is planned.
    2.       Be a strong room leader to a busy room & maintain high standards
    3.       To liaise with parents and to have good parent partnership.

    Responsible to :
    Nursery Manager and Deputy

    Duties and responsibilities
    ·      Daily room meeting to delegate task and ensure everyone is up to date with the running of the room.
    ·      Ensure Room planning is effective to the children in the room.
    ·      Support staff member with create good quality observations, assessment and planning.
    ·      To provide a high quality programme of activities and planning suitable to the age range of children in your care and to work in conjunction with the other staff in your room.
    ·      To keep up to date records as a key person on your key child. This will be all planning, observation and assessment.
    ·      To work with and have a partnership with parents.
    ·      To attend staff meetings, training, open days.
    ·      To be flexible within working practices in the nursery. To be prepared to help where needed, including  undertaking cleaning and cleansing equipment.
    ·      To work alongside the Director, Manager and Deputy and staffing team to ensure that the nursery ethos is fulfilled.
    ·      To record accidents the confidentiality, incidents and existing injuries.
    ·      Follow the safeguarding procedures of the nursery.
    ·      To respect the confidentiality of information received.
    ·      To develop your role within the staffing team especially with regard as a key person.
    ·      Specific child care tasks. Through the preparation and completion of activities to suit the child’s stage of development.
    ·      To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development.
    ·      Any other task that may be asked of you.
