We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of History to join King’s Norton Boys’ School as we continue on our journey towards becoming Outstanding. This post is particularly suitable for teacher’s with at least one year of GCSE results/success.
We are looking for a dynamic and caring individual who has a track record of success at teaching GCSE History, is very comfortable delivering KS3 History and can support the humanities department in key stage 3 if required. We are looking for someone with the very good pedagogical skills that can enable our boys to excel.
History is a popular subject and results are Good and improving. Timetable allocation to the department is generous; Historians receive 4 lessons in key stage 4 and 5 lessons in key stage 4 per fortnight. The successful candidate will also benefit from the support of both your department and our excellent pastoral team who have high expectations and promote positive behaviour and strict but caring ethos.
