The Administration Apprentice will work as part of the administration team to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities. This post will facilitate the efficient operation of the organisation together with other duties as directed by the Office Manager, or members of the Senior Management Team commensurate with the post.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
To assist in monitoring stationery supplies and replenishing stationery supplies and maintain office supply inventories
To set up and maintain existing filing systems and update information on the computer databases, and to utilise a variety of software packages including MS office 2010.
Recording and maintaining an accurate Next of Kin data base.
General clerical duties including photocopying, printing and mailing.
Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts and emails
Preparation of photocopying for collection by tutors and any other duties to support the teaching function of the organisation.
Transferring of incoming emails to appropriate person emails received from email@example.com. Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls, including appropriate message taking and return call details.
Receive and direct visitors and clients.
