    St Mary's Hospice



    Hospice Band 3 (£15,654 – £19,140 pro rata)

    We are currently expanding our catering team at Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice and are looking for an experienced cook to join our friendly team.

    The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide a catering service to patients, staff and visitors in the Hospice. Duties will include food preparation and cooking; serving beverages and food to patients and staff; clearing away and washing up after food preparation and meal times; cleaning the kitchen and associated areas. The post holder must be willing and able to lead and motivate other members in the team. Working an average of 16 hours per week, it is essential for the post holder to be flexible to work additional hours at short notice.  In addition the post holder may be required to work evenings, weekends or Bank holidays as per the department rota to cover absence
