Salary Range (Grade 4) £25,694 – £32,164 (dependant on Local Authority Service)

Rubery Nursery and Colmers Farm Primary School are located on same campus in Rubery, Birmingham. Rubery Nursery School has provision for 112 full time places, with most being part-time. The primary school, which was formerly Colmers Farm Infant and Junior School, is a large primary school with 420 pupils on roll.
We are seeking to appoint a Site Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance and development of the nursery and school site, along with overall responsibility for health and safety. The successful candidate will be skilled in carrying out reactive repair and maintenance work. They will also have a flexible approach and attitude, and be able to motivate self and manage own workload whilst being comfortable with taking instruction. The role will require split-shift working to include the opening and closing of the site.
The successful candidate should have strong site management experience and be able to make an immediate start in leading the management of site. A strong knowledge of health and safety is required to ensure statutory tests are carried out and accurate records maintained and, as required, submitted to the Local Authority. Therefore a recognised Health and Safety qualification (IOSH/NEBOSH) would be advantageous.
A willingness to undertake further training as deemed necessary is a requirement of the post.
