CASBA Is a small charity providing specialist advocacy services for learning disabled in Birmingham. Due to internal restructuring we are seeking to appointment an advocate to work in our team delivering the Parents Together Project, funded by Big Lottery.
The successful candidate will provide independent advocacy support for parents with learning disabilities who are facing statutory involvement or care proceedings relating to their children. Advocacy will be delivered in different settings including the courts, third party offices and people’s homes. The post holder will have a working knowledge of child protection and care proceedings.
