    Life at Boots
We are the UK’s leading Pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer.
Our purpose is to help our customers look and feel better than they ever thought possible and your role is really important in this.
As a Christmas Customer Assistant, you are the first person our customers will see and speak to when they come into one of our stores at this exciting time of year, and that makes this role special.

    Why Boots?
Christmas is a special time of year; it’s exciting but incredibly busy so we’ll provide you with all of the training and support you need to help you be at your best, have great conversations and provide excellent customer care.
Joining us as a Christmas Customer Assistant is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain some valuable experience over the festive period, or you have a passion for retail and are looking for a new challenge, we can support you.
Whilst this is a temporary contract, there could be the potential for a permanent role later on depending on the opportunities in your store, so it could be the start of a new career with us.

    Reward:
As a Christmas Customer Assistant you will be paid weekly, one week in arrears.

    Is this right for you?
With the hustle and bustle of the festive season, we want to create a magical shopping experience and make sure that we can help our customers in choosing that perfect gift.

What you’ll be doing day to day:
Working with our customers, the most important part of our business.
Whether that’s answering questions and giving great advice on our fantastic gifts, showing where a product is when they are in a hurry or simply offering a basket, it’s the little things that make big a difference.

    Working as a team.
In a busy environment your day will be filled; from helping with the delivery and putting products on to shelves, to being on the tills, no two days are the same.
It’s fast paced but working as a team, you’ll help to make sure that our stores are clean, tidy and presentable and provide a store that we can be really proud of; helping to create that festive feeling. Be a brand ambassador and a Christmas expert.
You’ll know the products across your store meaning you can give great advice, especially on our fantastic 3 for 2 and Star Gifts.
You’ll delight your customers with your excellent customer service, showing them options they might not have considered before. Helping our customers with ‘Order and Collect.’
Whether it’s using the in store Ipad to support with checking availability of products, placing orders on their behalf, or processing the order when it is delivered in store ready for our customers; you’ll be digitally savvy and ready to help.
Making our customers feel good. From a friendly smile, to listening to our customers’ needs, you’ll have a great relationship, putting them at ease, just by being you.

To be successful in this role you will have customer care at the heart of what you do and a true desire to help others. In addition you will:
