    Applicants must be 18+ and have Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate although training will be given. Must have an understanding of HACCP and bulk catering. You will be supervising the production of food for prisoners within HMP Birmingham. City & Guilds 706/2 or NVQ equivalent is essential. Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced enclosure, the cost of which will be met by the employer.

    No split shifts, great rate of pay, pension scheme, company benefits, plenty of weekends off.

    35 hour contract. £9.97 per hour

    You will be required to supervise the cooking of 2 meals a day for up to 1450 prisoners keeping inline with a very tight budget, effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets, full knowledge of menu items served, management of production to minimise wastage, ensuring the maintenance of high Food Hygiene and Health & Safety levels.
