The lease of a former Northfield nightclub – which has not reopened since an incident which saw two men stabbed and a third suffering a serious head injury in March – is up for grabs.

The licence for Medleys nightclub, formerly Dukes, was revoked by Birmingham City Council in April and a 30 year old Bartley Green man was arrested and charged in November.

Now the lease of the extensive town centre basement space is available.

The 2,200 ft basement bar sits under Northfield Shopping Centre and is accessed via an entrance on Bristol Road South.

Chartered Surveyors James A Baker are advertising the property for a potential licensed use, with the option to explore other uses, subject to licensing and planning permissions.
