Man suffers ‘serious injuries’ in early morning collision in Selly Oak

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after a car was in collision with a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) in Selly Oak in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 17th November).

The incident at the junction of Bristol Road and Oak Tree Lane at the Selly Oak Triangle happened at just before 4am.

A man from the car was been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road remains closed today (Sunday 17th) towards Birmingham – between Lodge Hill Road and Chapel Lane – while collision investigators examine the scene.
