West Midlands Police have confirmed that a Bartley Green man has been arrested and charged in relation to a disorder at a Northfield nightclub in March which left 3 men injured: two suffering stab wounds and a third a serious head injury.
Last month, investigating officers appealed for help to find two men wanted in relation to the incident, which happened in the early hours of Saturday 9th March at Medley’s nightclub in Bristol Road South.
A renewed appeal to find the second man was released last week after a 33 year old man was voluntarily interviewed.
A police spokesperson confirmed yesterday that 30 year old Cory Dixon, from Bartley Green, has now been arrested and charged with possession of a knife in a public place, violent disorder and two counts of wounding with intent.
The licence for Medley’s night club was withdrawn permanently by Birmingham City Council in April.
