Another cyclist has been injured after being pushed from his bike in south west Birmingham.
The incident happened just after 7pm on Thursday (21st November).
The 21 year old man was pushed from his bike by a passenger in a passing car as he rode in Stonehouse Lane, Woodgate. He collided into two parked cars and the car drove away from the scene, leaving the man with a badly broken arm which required surgery to repair.
Colleagues on the Chateau Impney Cycling Team are appealing for anyone with any information, CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch with the police.
In a post on the team’s Facebook page, a spokesperson for the team wrote: “If you have any information, please come forward […] maybe we can get some justice for Luke.
“I’m in shock that there are people out there, who would do this for a “laugh”, the consequences of their actions have had far reaching impact on many people, especially Luke.”
