Police are investigating after two men in a white Mercedes A180 pointed what is believed to be firearms in the Bartley Green.

The vehicle, number plate KL68 TGK, was seen driving across a driveway in Pickering Croft just after 8.20pm on Monday 22nd July.

As it came to a stop, two men got out and pointed what looked like handguns in the direction of nearby Jiggins Lane.

DC Beth Weir from the force CID team, said: “We are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time.

“We appreciate this happened a couple of months ago now, but our priority is to investigate the report fully and to protect anyone that could potentially be in danger.

“There were no reported injuries, but again, I’d like to hear from anyone who has information.”

A 28-year-old man who was charged in connection with this incident with possession of a firearm, has been bailed until his next court appearance.
