West Midlands Police have arrested a 13 year old girl in relation to a serious assault on another teen in a Northfield park earlier this month.

The assault – which was caught on video and shared on social media – took place in Ley Hill Park at 1pm on Saturday 3rd August.

A 14 year old girl was dragged to the floor and repeatedly stamped on and kicked.

West Midlands Police arrested a 13 year old girl on suspicion of assault yesterday (Tuesday 13th August).

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are aware of a video which is circulating on social media and would urge people not to speculate on the identity of those involved as it may hinder the investigation.”

  1. Kids don’t seem to care because despite uploading their dreadful videos to social media profiles for nearly all and sundry to gawp at, when arrested they very rarely have their names and/or photos published due to their age – which is quite an oxymoron in some regards.
