Northfield Beach is BACK for 2019!
Northfield Community Partnership has organised another amazing 5 days of FREE fun!
The high street beach has been a hit with young and old over the years, providing an opportunity for all to get some sand between their toes!
This year sees another festival of arts, crafts, entertainment and more.
Highlights are set to be the return of Jurassic Beach – including a visit from an amazing interactive, animatronic T-Rex; a trip down memory lane as you enjoy games from past to present at Play Day; a chance to shiver your timbers with Pirate Day and a performance from reggae legend, Tippa Irie (‘Hello Darling’, ‘Raggamuffin Girl’, ‘Complain Neighbour’)
Stretch out on one of the traditional deckchairs, have a play in the sand – buckets and spades provided – and enjoy the entertainment.
Community stalls will also be around the square with useful info and there will be FREE face painting and arts and crafts.
This year, Northfield Beach is part of Sport Birmingham’s Happy Healthy Holidays programme, where children can have a free lunch and snack and take part in any of the free activities at the beach, across the five days. You MUST REGISTER to claim free meals.
