The hard work, commitment and desire from everyone involved at Five Ways Old Edwardians RFC (fwoerfc), has paid off as they finish the season in style, as champions.

The newly crowned ‘Greater Birmingham Merit League Champions’, who play their home games at Masshouse on Ash Lane, Hopwood, staged a stunning comeback (Saturday 13th April) to beat Edwardians 2X, 38-19 to make the day even sweeter.

The battling display was typical of the performances this season which has seen them win their last 14 league in a row.

A spokesperson for the club said: “It’s been a phenomenal year for the club! Onwards and upwards for next season.”
