A schoolgirl was injured this morning in an accident involving a ride-on lawnmower on a busy commuter route through Northfield this morning (Wednesday 20th March).
The teenager was in collision with the vehicle at just before 8am on Bristol Road South, close to the junction with Frankley Beeches Road.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said that two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a BASICS doctor treated the girl at the scene, before she was transferred to hospital.
The service confirmed that her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
We wish her a full and speedy recovery.
